There is nowhere in the New Covenant that we are required to physically assault someone who we think or believe may have spiritual problems - 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. Leadership, Jesus said in Matthew 20:25-28, is a call to servant-hood - Servants do not go beating up people they are to serve. There is a lot of abuse of people going on in the name of the Lord and it needs to be called to question and scrutiny. Nobody is above the word of God.

Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave-- just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:25-28)
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled." (2 Corinthians 10:3-6)
Dude, this is crazy. He feels like a frustrated person to me. Jesus NEVER did anything like this from the records available to us.
